Going away party

Had an amazing going away party. Sad to say goodbye to all of my old friends but looking forward to making many many new ones.

Getting ready.

I have been accepted by the Congress Bundestag Youth Exchange and am preparing to go overseas to Germany for ten months for my senior year of high school. I will leave behind all of my friends and family and make new ones as I become immersed in the German language and culture. I am excited but also completely terrified. I leave in 10 days (oh dang only that many) when I will fly to Washington D.C. The day can't come soon enough but also is coming way too fast. All I know is I'm excited to go.
